OK so no one is perfect. There was a private Halloween party up there in 1988 and it was the most wonderful of times. This is the Grand Hall and main entranceway to the Castle. Massive stone arches support the structure and are firmly embedded in the granite base that forms Dark Island. Directly ahead is the door to the Armory, Vault and Wine Cellar. Above the door hangs a heavy bronze boars head and powder horn. To the right is the other half of this massive room. Normally three suits of armor guard this room but they were stored away for this occasion. They are visible though on the postcard page.
